Leveraging Crowdsourcing: Arch2POCM Meeting Report

Defining the problem is the first step towards creating viable solutions. At a workshop held in NYC in January 2011 co-sponsored by ALSA and MNDA, ALS and stem cell researchers gathered to assess where we are and where we need to go towards realizing the enormous potential of stem cells for future ALS cellular therapies and drug development purposes. Several major roadblocks were identified that covered the gamut from basic research to preclinical to clinical challenges facing ALS stem cell studies.
