ALS Presentation Summary from the 2009 Suna Kirac Conference on Stem Cells, RNAi and Neurodegeneration August 23, 2009 The Suna and Inan Kirac Foundation sponsored a recent meeting held in Istanbul, Turkey on July 19-21, 2009, where international scientists gathered to discuss Stem Cells, RNAi and Neurodegeneration. The conference opened with talks focusing on the development of motor neurons and moved on to topics covering disease pathogenesis and potential therapeutic approaches for neurodegenerative diseases, with an emphasis on ALS.
